TheFR Skates FR 2 80 Skatesis FR's latest adaption of one of our best selling boots of all time. Perfect for taking your skating up to the next level. This unisex skate features the premium FR liner, 3D EVA footbed and wider boot opening, making them one of the most comfortable on the market.
TheFR 2is the perfect jack-of-all-trades, just as at home in the city as it is for lengthy skates down the seafront or for lacing some technical footwork. Freeride and Freestyle skaters will be particularly interested as the frame utilises an optional rockering system, giving the skate more accuracy and manoeuvrability.
The liner is thick and slipper-like, providing best-in-class comfort at any price (but for an extremely 'intermediate' price tag).
The shell is strong and supportive, working in tandem with the liner to reduce road-vibration while staying responsive to your movements.
To ensure that your foot is held securely in place, theFR 2skates feature a FK buckle fastening at the ankle and a 45 ratchet strap across the top of your foot. The FR laces are somewhat of a cult item for dedicated bladers. Due to their long length, wide girth and matte finish, they grip very well. Often searched for as an aftermarket item (but rarely available!)
TheFR 2 80boot is mounted upon the newR2 frames (243mm) which are rockerable and the very cool Downtown wheels 80mm 85a (which have FR branding in the core!).
For the best performance, inline skates should have a snug fit. It's not necessary to buy inline skates one size larger than your foot size; as they break in, all inline skates will expand and widen over time. It's important to know that soft boots will expand more than hybrid or carbon boots.
3 EASY STEPS TO MEASURE YOUR FEET:
Add extra MM to select your confort zone We recommend adding betweer, 3 to 5 mm to your foot length taking the thickness of your socks into account.
Should I measure the size of my shoe’s insole? NO. The Powerslide sizing charts refer to the size of the last and not the size of the insoles which are always a few mm smaller.
