Description

The FR-EO Carbon H2 is a high-performance carbon fiber frame developed for speed skating and racing on road and track. Its 3x110+100mm setup combines three 110mm wheels with one 100mm wheel in a compact 12"8 frame, offering a balance of speed, agility, and precise handling.

The H2 is available in two versions: Standard and Flex. Both share the same wheel configuration, frame length, and 195mm mounting standard, but differ in the way the frame responds under load.

The H2 Flex is the more compliant version and is the main choice for skaters looking for a less rigid and more progressive frame response. Compared with the standard H2, the Flex version offers a slightly more forgiving feel while maintaining the characteristics expected from a high-performance carbon frame. This makes it an interesting option for skaters who want a balance between efficient power transfer, responsiveness, and a more adaptable feel during skating.

The Flex construction gives the skater a different connection with the frame, particularly when loading the chassis during the push. Rather than focusing exclusively on maximum rigidity, the H2 Flex introduces a degree of compliance into the overall response, making it a specialized option for skaters who prefer a more dynamic feel.

The standard H2 takes a more direct approach, prioritizing stiffness and immediate power transfer. It is suited to skaters who prefer a firm, highly responsive connection between the boot and the frame and want the frame to react directly to their input.

Both versions are made from high-grade carbon fiber and are designed for demanding skaters, competitors, and speed skating setups where precision and performance are priorities.

The H2/H2 Flex uses a 195mm mounting standard and is intended for speed skating boots with this configuration.

The frame includes allen tool, FR-EO axles and official 13mm mounting bolts. FR-EO also offers mounting bolts in 10, 13, and 16mm lengths. FR Skates states that using bolts other than those supplied voids the 2-year warranty.
