The FR-EO Carbon 3x125 combines three 125mm wheels with a high-performance carbon fiber frame available in seven lengths to fine-tune the skating feel.

Description

The FR-EO Carbon 3x125 is a high-performance carbon fiber frame developed for speed skating and racing on road and track.

Its 3x125mm configuration gives skaters the rolling characteristics of large 125mm wheels in a three-wheel setup. Combined with the stiffness and precision of high-grade carbon fiber, the frame is designed for efficient power transfer, rebound, and a direct response during the push.

One of the key advantages of the FR-EO Carbon 3x125 is the range of available frame lengths. FR Skates offers seven options: 11"8, 12"4, 12"6, 12"8, 13"0, 13"2, and 13"4. This allows skaters to choose the wheelbase according to the handling characteristics they prefer.

The shorter lengths provide a more compact platform, which generally makes a skate feel more responsive and easier to maneuver. This can be useful for skaters who prioritize quick direction changes and a more agile response from the frame.

As the frame becomes longer, the increased wheelbase generally provides greater stability and more consistent tracking. Longer versions can therefore be better suited to skaters who prioritize a planted feel, directional stability, and control when maintaining speed over longer sections.

The FR-EO Carbon 3x125 is also compatible with both 165mm and 195mm mounting standards, giving it broad compatibility with speed and racing boots using these mounting configurations.

Originally developed by EO Skates and now distributed under the FR SKATES brand, the FR-EO Carbon range is designed for competitors and demanding skaters looking for lightweight construction, stiffness, precision, and high-level performance.

The frame is sold as a pair and includes allen tool, FR-EO axles and official 13mm mounting bolts. FR-EO also offers mounting bolts in 10mm, 13mm, and 16mm lengths. FR Skates states that using bolts other than those supplied voids the 2-year warranty.
