Official FR-EOSkates mounting screws for securely attaching frames to compatible skating boots.

Description

The FR-EOSkates mounting screws are the dedicated mounting hardware for FR-EOSkates frames, available in three lengths to accommodate different skating setups.

The 10mm, 13mm and 16mm options allow you to select the appropriate screw length according to the frame and boot configuration. The 13mm version is the standard length supplied with FR-EOSkates carbon frames, while the 10mm and 16mm versions cover setups requiring shorter or longer hardware.

Using the correct length is particularly important when the distance between the boot and frame changes because of the boot construction or additional components. The objective is to achieve a proper mounting connection without using unnecessarily long or short hardware.

These screws are also relevant when replacing existing mounting hardware. Rather than adapting generic screws, you can use the lengths specified by FR-EOSkates for its carbon frames.

FR-EOSkates states that its 10mm, 13mm and 16mm mounting bolts are the specified hardware for its carbon frames and that using other bolts will void the frame's 2-year warranty.

For skaters in speed, freestyle slalom, freeskate, urban or marathon disciplines, having the correct mounting hardware ensures that the frame installation follows the manufacturer's specifications.

How to choose the right length

10mm — for configurations requiring a shorter screw. In some cases, this length is used with boots from brands such as Simmons or Cityrun.

13mm — the standard length supplied with FR-EOSkates carbon frames.

16mm — for configurations requiring a longer screw. This length is also used when risers (wedges) are installed between the frame and the boot, as the additional thickness requires a longer screw.

If you're unsure which length your setup requires, check the specific boot, frame and accessories before ordering.
